Dear Fellow Early Music Lover,
We are now entering our Eleventh season working to promote a love of early music in Pennsylvania!
Among the events we have planned for the year is our Seventh Annual Central PA Early Music Festival; this year's festival will be held at a new location, Mellinger Mennonite Meetinghouse in Lancaster. Workshop faculty includes Debra Boothe (recorder), Larry Lipnik (viola da gamba & recorder), and Rainer Beckmann (recorder). Courtly Music Unlimited will be in residence and we will have an open stage performance at the end of the day as in previous years. This promises to be a great event!
We are also excited about our Second Annual History Through the Arts Summer Camp. Children ages 6-16 will have the opportunity to participate in hands on activities, fieldtrips, and presentations under the guidance of professional artists and educators, as we celebrate Pennsylvania’s beginnings. We received excellent feedback about last year's camp and are really looking forward to it this year.
